Scorers ( Rio 4. Caden 2.)
1st Half we struggled to settle and keep hold of the ball. St Francis were a tricky little team with some quick forwards that did catch us on the break once or twice. They were full of running and confidence winning there last four matches by big score lines. The Baltic windy conditions played a big part in today's result with the ball bobbling all over, after a difficult 30mins we come off winning 3-1.
2nd Half we stepped up a gear as only Marske Utd can! We started passing and moving keeping possession and making some fabulous moves forward causing all sorts of problems for their defence, if it wasn't for their MOTM keeper (apparently just been scouted by Boro) it could have ended double figures today! Delighted for Rio grabbing four super goals, one with his trade mark overhead kick and Caden picking up a well earned brace to keep both strikers firing on all cylinders! Jimmy pulled off some fine saves in goal today to keep us well and truly in command. Superb performances all over the pitch today. Defence a couple of errors but overall bossed it. Well done to Matty, Tom, Dwain, Callum and Max at the back our Redcar Rocks! Harry, Guy and Toby on the wings having great games lots of pace and attacking play excellent boys.
Joe really settling in and again commanded the CM position!
Little glimpses of Harvey returning back to his best form with a great performance in the CAM role unlucky not to grab two goals today! Well done big man!
Caden and Rio both in fine form up front!
